Bylaws are internal rules governing the management of an organization that cover such matters as:
- Election of officers
- Appointment of committees
- Duties of officers
- Permitted activities
The Hampton Lake Women's Group is a 501(c)7 non-profit organization, as such the HLWG provides social activities and relies on membership fees and dues as our main source of funding.
Each year the HLWG Bylaws Committee comprised of the current President(s), President(s) Elect, Advisor and a Member-at-Large form a Bylaws committee to review the current bylaws and make any revisions if necessary. Once a draft of the reviewed Bylaws have been reviewed by the Executive Board, the Bylaws are sent to the General Membership for approval.
