Charitable Giving Committee (CGC)
Our May 2024 collection Operation Patriots FOB was a huge success. We filled two car loads! We appreciate Nancy Martin and our own Vicki Day for picking up and delivering the donations.
We appreciate the guidance and support from our Presidents, Mary Warner and Eileen Faas and our President Elect Tracy Moran.
Sally, Brenda and I truly appreciate your generous support for our CG drives! You made such a difference by answering the call to donate at our various drives! We enjoyed our time with CG and know that the new ladies will do an awesome job!

This year's Toy Drive to benefit Bluffton Self Help was another success!
Toys were collected over two weekend and a total of 20 bicycles, 55 books and countless stocking stuffers were donated in addition to toys. Once again we're reminded of the generosity of the Hampton Lake community.
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit Bluffton Self Help was a huge success!
Our community filled 4 vans of pantry items, turkeys and hams!

Hampton Lake members consistently show their generosity and give us the opportunity to make a positive impact on our community. Our Charitable Giving Committee (CGC) collects and distributes non-cash contributions to non-profit charities serving the greater Bluffton area.
We sponsor an annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for our local food pantry, supplying hundreds of families with meals for the holiday. We organize a toy drive in December providing many toys for area children. We also collect school supplies that are distributed to local teachers for use in their classrooms.
At our quarterly General Membership Meetings, we collect for special circumstances, be it paper towels, arts and crafts supplies, or other needed essential items for a number of notable charities throughout Bluffton.

Our members continually show their generosity! Charitable Giving had a school supply drive in July and a Food and Toy Drive in November. Bluffton Self Help picked up the donations to distribute to local Bluffton schools and families. HLWG's Charitable Giving Committee consistently supports local non-profit organizations by holding supply drives. Some of the organizations supported are: Pocket's Full of Sunshine, Hopeful Horizons and Operation Patriots FOB. HLWG Members continue to make a positive impact on our Bluffton community! |
