The Charitable Giving Committee Mission
Hampton Lake members continuously show their generosity, creating opportunities for us to positively impact the community. Through our Charitable Giving Committee (CGC), we gather and distribute non-cash donations to support non-profit organizations serving the greater Bluffton area.
At each of our quarterly General Membership Meetings, we organize collections for specific needs, such as paper towels, arts and crafts supplies, or other essential items requested by local charities. This allows us to respond to urgent needs and make a tangible difference.

We are thrilled to share that our August 2024 collection for Pockets Full of Sunshine was an overwhelming success! Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we filled not one but two carloads with wish list items during our General Meeting. Your contributions are truly inspiring and demonstrate the remarkable spirit of our community.
Lianne, Debbie, and I want to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support of our community giving drives. Your willingness to answer the call and donate at our various events makes a significant difference in the lives of those we aim to help.

Annual BSH Thanksgiving food drive and Toy Drive
We will again be sponsoring two drives in November and early December to support Bluffton Self Help's (BSH) annual Thanksgiving food drive and Toy Drive. Please check back for more information!
Our members continually show their generosity! Charitable Giving Committee had a school supply drive for Bluffton teachers in July. Bluffton Self Help (BSH) picked up the donations to distribute to local Bluffton schools and families. HLWG's Charitable Giving Committee consistently supports local non-profit organizations by holding supply drives. Some of the organizations supported are: Pocket's Full of Sunshine, Hopeful Horizons and Operation Patriots FOB. HLWG Members continue to make a positive impact on our Bluffton community! |
